Goal was to design a magazine prototype for craigslist. Craigslist content can be irreverent and edgy, however, once I discovered the Craigslist Foundation, I decided it was as important to appeal to an upscale urban audience as the quirky side of craigslist. Inviting interest in the publication not only to regular craigslisters but also an audience whose attention could be captured in regards to supporting the mission of the Craigslist Foundation.

Corporate identity project for a nonprofit company. Conception and design of main logo (and three secondary logos), three print ads, business cards, stationary, brochure and recyclable grocery bag.

Using images from zappos.com, we were asked to come up with a theme and design an 8-page shoe catalog mailer. With spring approaching, I chose to focus on a variety of summer shoes for women.

Marketing for a Venezuelan cocoa company through research and mood boarding. Project included creation of business identity, packaging for three chocolate products, and a 38-page book demonstrating copy writing and editorial skills.

PSA campaign for a non-smoking nonprofit company consisting of a 30-second television spot, three print ads and web site prototype. I wrote creative brief and campaign copy, formulated campaign direction, designed ads, logo and home web page. Co-delivered multimedia presentation of project.

I chose Sherwin-Williams as a company to do a logo redesign for. Red paint pouring over a planet? Yikes! However, research showed that the Sherwin-Williams logo is an historical icon. So instead of tampering with history, I decided to design for their line of environmentally friendly paints.
For the assignment I produced an eco-friendly logo, billboard ad, bumper sticker and paint can design.

Performed production, layout and design of the Skamania County Visitors Guide : 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009. This is a 48-page full color magazine for the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania County, Washington.
For portfolio purposes, I took this opportunity to redesign the covers of the visitors guide. These prototypes have been received well and it appears some of these design ideas will be implemented on the 2010 edition of the guide.
